After rumors swirled rapper Big Sean cheated on Jhené Aiko with former Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger, the "While We're Young" singer took to Twitter to dismantle the gossip. However, Jhene made it a point to refute the rumors on Twitter, writing, "Sorry, but nothing about you guy's fan fiction stories are true... I still love you tho", wrote the Trip musician early Tuesday morning (Mar. 13). "They looked like they were a couple".
Twitter quickly got a reality check when Aiko took to her timeline to dispel any rumors before they had time to catch on.
No cameras were allowed at the party, but one person who knew Jhene told her, and according to the same source, Jhene was upset and confronted her boyfriend about it.
As with most Internet he said-she said, social media was split and the jokes at both party's expenses were flying. Sean agreed with the sentiment by quote-tweeting his lady love with clapping emojis.
Then the blog anonymously (and erroneously) claimed Aiko was hurt by the reported flirting: "She was pissed, she confronted him about it, and he didn't really deny it".
Jhene also apparently unfollowed Sean on Instagram, which is like the millennial version of the wine glass to the face routine from every romance movie ever, a very public display of ire and disgust. Check out the serious of tweets from Jhene (below) and read the initial rumor here.
