Final Fantasy VII Remake Levels Aimed To Meet Fans' Expectations

Final Fantasy VII Remake is reaching 'satisfactory levels of reproducing' the original game's visuals

Final Fantasy 7 Remake's Quality Needs To Be Higher, Square Enix Comments; Looking For Level Planners

Square Enix is now hiring a level planner for its massive new Final Fantasy VII: Remake project. The site notes that an update on the game's development progress is somewhat shared through this job post, opting for fans to get an idea what the team is working on right now. In the ad, Square Enix also revealed that the game's general functions and contents are being tested by the development team and that the reproduction of the original work in high-quality graphics is reaching a satisfactory standard. So they have chosen to go for a significantly higher quality keeping in mind the end goal to meet the desires of the fans.

Several highlights from the job listing state that it is a "major project of fully remaking Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation 4" and that Square Enix is "recruiting core members for the project!"

Looking for new level planners is not a last-minute replacement, Square Enix adds.

Judging from the listing it looks like Final Fantasy 7 Remake is on schedule and is simply looking for someone to help ensure a quality experience.

By setting up core members from different positions as level organizers, battle planners, and designers and keeping in mind that there already exist persons from the developing team, they all should chip away at this together to accomplish the objective.

Vayne's a bit of a weird pick considering the popularity of other Final Fantasy XII characters (Balthier, Basch, Fran, Gabranth, to name a few), but we suppose NT does need a couple more bad guys to even things out.
