However, this is not the first time we're looking at the Mi 7 on the internet because it was leaked numerous times in the last few months.
Regarding the Xiaomi Mi 7, we have not yet received as many details regarding the design and other features of the smartphone as compared to other smartphones other than the fact that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor which is the flagship Qualcomm processor in 2018.
A Xiaomi smartphone with codename Dipper has appeared on Geekbench revealing some of its specifications. Now, we have come to know of one major detail regarding the design of the Xiaomi Mi 7. This phone will be launched on March 27 and the leaked images of the device have already given Xiaomi fans its glimpse.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi Berlin runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat, instead of Android Oreo, and includes a hexa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device, just like the previous Mi Mix phones, will not only come with a screen that dominates the front of the phone, it will also probably pack in the iPhone X-like placement of dual-rear cameras. The Geekbench screenshot was uploaded to the benchmarking site on March 12. And it was reported that the delay of Mi 7's launch is due to the dedicated hardware for the facial recognition feature. It definitely is not the Mi Mix 2S smartphone as reports have suggested the codename Polaris for the upcoming flagship device.
Later this week, Xiaomi is expanding its Redmi lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi 5.
Xiaomi is also in the headlines for setting up the stage for the launch of the Mi MIX 2S.
