The Switch Parental Controls app - allowing users to access Parental Controls for their console - has been updated to v1.5 on iOS (and presumably soon to Android). Since the Switch is now running software version 4.1.0., this would imply that a firmware update is inbound for the Nintendo's latest platform.
In related news, there have been many rumors regarding Diablo 3 being in development for Nintendo Switch, however, Blizzard Entertainment has denied that Diablo 3 is in development for Switch. We don't know but it can't be too far away otherwise these features added to the parental controls app can't be used until then. These include sleep-mode syncing, a software whitelist and the ability to extend the bedtime alarm on the console.
You can now choose to lock this app.
"In order to use some of these features, you will need to update the Nintendo Switch system version to 5.0.0 or later."Others, however, have set their sights on updates that they truly do believe are possible: such as backup saves, folder organization and more customization options to make the Switch truly feel as though it belongs to you.
