When Huawei tried to enter Smartphone market their were many smartphone manufacturers, who tried to cast a large shadow on Chinese smartphone manufacturer in order to push the device out of the market. It also started launching high end flagship devices and their lighter variants for people who couldn't afford high end phones. The mid-range smartphone has been launched in Thailand and the pricing has not been revealed yet.
Talking about the specifications of the new Huawei Y9, the smartphone has a 5.93-inch full view HD Plus display (1080x2160 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the front, we have the 16 mega pixel + 2 mega pixel configuration. Due to low megapixel counts, 2 MP sensors are used for depth information.
The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 659 processor coupled with eight processing cores at a clock-speed of 2.3GHz. The phone also has a very big 4,000 mAh battery that lets you use the Y9 phone for a day.
The newly launched Huawei Y9 (2018) will be available for purchase for Euro 200, which roughly translates to Rs 16,000 approx.
The smartphone runs on Android 8 Oreo branded firmware EMUI 8, and the neg has two slots for SIM-cards, microSD slot up to 256 GB, internal memory 32 GB and support for cellular networks LTE, including Russian.
This will be also packing a 4000mAh battery and the handset will be arriving in the Black, Blue, and Gold color options that will be consists of a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
As of now, it's introduced in Thailand and company will ensure that the device will be in other Asian countries too.
