According to a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony's My PlayStation is meant to be a social destination on the Internet for fans to access key PSN features from a web browser across PC, Mac, mobile phones, and tablets.
The news comes via a post over on the official PlayStation blog which details the different features on offer. You can reach My PlayStation by simply going to my.playstation.com and logging in using your PSN information.
Rather than relying on the app or your console itself, you can now access your friends list, your Trophies, search for friends and respond to requests, make profile updates and send messages. From there, log in and you'll be able to access all of My PlayStation's features.
My PlayStation lets you connect with other players on your PC, Mac, smartphones, and other mobile devices when you can't get to your system.
In any case, if you'd like to try the service for yourself, head over to the PlayStation website and click the "My PlayStation" button you see in the upper right corner. My PlayStation is compatible with "most major web browsers" on Windows 10, MacOS10, iOS 10, and Android 5.0 or later. Sony said it will continue to enhance and add more features to My PlayStation on a regular basis.
