The key USP of the ZenFone 5 Lite will be its 20MP dual-selfie setup on the front.

The Zenfone 5 series is said to include smartphones like ZenFone 5 (2018), ZenFone 5 Lite and ZenFone 5 Max.

Other details that Evan Blass revealed about the upcoming ZenFone 5 Lite include a full HD+ display. In terms of color options, the ZenFone 5 Lite will be available in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Rouge Red colors. ASUS usually launches their more affordable offerings in the Indian market, so there is a good chance that the ZenFone 5 Lite may land in the Indian market later this year. That means there will be 1080 x 2160 pixels lighting up the display which again will be of 18:9 aspect ratio.

Now, coming to the Zenfone 5 Lite, it is expected to feature a 6-inch FHD+ display with minimum bezels. The fingerprint sensor again is placed beneath the twin cameras. The design of phone has also been leaked with the press shot. Besides this, the ZenFone 5 is likely to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with at least 3GB of RAM. Since this is the Lite variant, it is also expected to feature the same hardware, but will have different camera specs. Well, the post doesn't exactly mention the ZenFone 5 name, but the hints are enough for us to make an educated guess. It will have dual rear cameras with 16MP sensors and on the front, it will have 20MP sensors.

The handset is further tipped to arrive with dual-SIM functionality, a large 4,000mAh unit battery and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with the brand's ZenUI skin on top.

Asus has already sent out its invites for MWC 2018, scheduled for a 7:30pm kick off (central european time) on February 27.
