Now it looks like there may be a handful of additional devices getting updated to Oreo. Samsung Experience 9.0 brings a number of new keyboard features, device search enhancements and more. Yes, the development phase of the Android 8.0 Oreo update for these devices have been completed. This may imply that Samsung and T-Mobile have finished testing the Android Oreo update for the aforementioned devices and it's ready to start being rolled-out, but we have no way to confirm this right now. We haven't heard anything from T-Mobile or Samsung about these Oreo updates for these devices before, which makes these pages a bit of a surprise.
Well, it is still unclear whether the other networks in the United States and the original global variants of the devices will get the update, as there is no any confirmation on this as of the current time. To add to the confusion, Samsung hasn't published an official statement detailing the list of devices due to receive the Android Oreo update. The XML files in the framework-res of the leaked Oreo beta pointed to code-names of several Samsung devices, which suggested that the company has been experimenting with Android Oreo on these devices.
I've reached out to T-Mobile to ask about these pages and if these four Samsung devices will indeed be updated to Android Oreo. However, the new Oreo update is now officially available for both, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones.
One thing we can say with certainty is that they'll very likely be the last in the queue to receive the updates. We would let you update with every single update made by Samsung in the future related to Android Oreo operating system.
