One of the suicide bombers actually died alone not killing anybody because she could not get to the camp before she knew the game was up and she had to detonate killing herself.
A female suicide bomber infiltrated the Dalori Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in the city of Maiduguri and detonated an explosive device, killing herself and five other people, Satomi Ahmad, head of the State Emergency Management Agency told reporters late on Wednesday.
"Forty-four people were injured, four killed (two suicide bombers, two IDPs) at the Dalori IDP camp Maiduguri".
Earlier, six villagers were yesterday killed and 13 injured when a suicide bomber struck in Konduga local government area of Borno state.
Also comfirmng the incident, the Zonal Director, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA ) Northeast, Mr Bashir Idris Garga said the first incident at Dalori quarters occured around 6:30pm on Wednesday while the second attack at Dalori IDPs camp was around 9:30pm same day.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but residents blamed Boko Haram, the militia that has been responsible for most of the attacks in the region.
Neither the police nor the military has issued a statement in respect of the attack.
