Ole Koretsky, who played with O'Riordan in rock band D.A.R.K, has been left heartbroken by the 46-year-old's "unexplained" death. I will miss her terribly.
Many famous faces rushed to pay tribute to Dolores when news of her death broke, including her Cranberries bandmates, who posted a message on Twitter. "I send my love and condolences to her family and loved ones".
O'Riordan was found dead in the Hilton hotel on Park Lane on Monday morning with Met Police saying they were called to the scene at 9.05 am. "My heart is broken and it is beyond fix".
O'Riordan joined D.A.R.K.in 2014, five years after Koretsky founded the group with The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke.
The singer had been in London to record a cover of Zombie with hard rock band Bad Wolves and, hours before her death, had sounded "full of life" in a voicemail, according to her friend and music producer Dan Waite. Her family is attractive. I am lost. I miss her so much.
Grief stricken, Olé painted a devastating picture of the future, adding: "I will continue to stumble around this planet for some time knowing well there's no real place for me here now".
Police have said her death does not appear to be suspicious, though an official cause has not been released.
She is survived by three children. "The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session".
"We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores", it read.
Speaking to local paper the Limerick Leader her mother, Eileen, said the outpouring of support from the people in their native Limerick has been a "huge source of comfort".
