- As noted, Richard Rodriguez implicated WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns as a client in a steroid distribution ring during an interview with filmmaker Jon Bravo.
In a clip by documentary filmaker Jon Bravo, Richard Rodriguez, who is now under investigation for being part of a distribution ring that sold illegal steroids, suggested Roman Reigns bought steroids from him.
A new report from Bleacher Report is suggesting that Roman Reigns is being linked to a steroid distribution ring that took place in February 2017.
"At the end I'm just trying to clear my name and just make people well aware, there's a lot more people out there that were involved and are associated with my company that many individuals did not know", Rodriguez said.
An accused Miami steroid dealer, now in prison, alleges that WWE's Roman Reigns was one of his clients. "He was originally introduced to me by one of the informants", revealed Rodriguez.
"He [Reigns] is a very down to earth person, however, a situation involved in which... often times when you're brought to trials - which I was not, I made a decision to take a plea - however, they disclose discovery".
Reigns has previously been accused of breaking the WWE's wellness policy. Reigns was suspended in June of 2016, eight months before Rodriguez's arrest, but it was believed at the time that Reigns had tested positive for Adderall. The timing would be awful becasue Reigns will be a key part of WrestleMania and he would need to be on TV every week to hype the show.
It's unclear how WWE will handle the allegations against Reigns.
