Armenia's standing in the latest FIFA ranking remained unchanged at the 90th spot for the fourth month in a row as the federation released the new list on Thursday, January 18.
The first FIFA World Ranking of 2018 saw very few significant changes as only 22 friendlies took place since the December edition.
The global ranking remained the same with the top five consisting of World Cup holders Germany in top spot, followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
Germany remains at the summit of a static top ten, while Iceland (20, up 2) is the only team to enter the top 20, with the Netherlands (21, down 1) dropping out.
Tunisia replaced Senegal as the highest ranked African nation after moving up four spots into 23rd position, one above the Lions of Teranga.
Meanwhile, Tunisia, Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria and Morocco will be representing Africa in this year's FIFA World Cup scheduled to be hosted by Russian Federation.
England, however, moved down one place to 16th in the world with 1047 points while Wales stayed in 19th (985).
