This rumor was flying around for awhile and now it is a reality. Exclusive to Playstation 4, the Trilogy Box set is pretty exorbitant and includes pretty much everything you'd ever need as a Souls fan. Get ready to head back to the land of cursed undead, just make sure to keep that bonfire lit.

This remastered version will come packing the Artorias of the Abyss DLC in addition to improved framerate and resolution compared to the original Dark Souls. The remaster is heading for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Despite the fact that is being ported to Nintendo, Dark Souls Remastered will be available for all other platforms.

With the details Bandai Namco has released so far, players can look forward to a completely enhanced version of the game.

Nintendo Direct Mini Unveils a Bunch of Upcoming Switch Games

Bandai Namco has announced a remastered edition of the original Dark Souls action RPG game. From Software has been very open about not having plans for more Dark Souls content, but this evidently doesn't apply to remasters. As a single player game, Dark Souls presents a tight and polished experience with the player constantly chasing that new piece of loot, or that next soul level, or the next boss battle.

While all of the above is terrific news for anyone looking to have their ass handed to them over and over and over again, it's a particularly notable move for Switch owners and Nintendo itself.
