Wait, what.? Yep, they're warning residents about the ever so addicting Girl Scout Cookie and how the season is in full swing.

"We did it for the first time a year ago during the Cookie Program and it was pretty successful". There will be Thin Mints, which I think will never be unseated as the most popular cookie. You won't be able to buy the cookies outside of your local grocery store or online; that won't happen until February 23.

The 101st year of Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland kicks off the next century of female entrepreneurs and the 2018 Girl Scout cookie season. "So with Baxter's help we chose to do it again this year", explained Peterson.

For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts have used cookie earnings to create programming to build girl leaders who will make positive changes in the world.

"All the proceeds from the Cookie Program stay in Nebraska".

To find Girl Scout Cookies, connect with a local troop or order online, visit GirlScoutsNebraska.org or call the Cookie Hotline at 877-637-4684. "A lot of troops use it to do community service projects in their area".

Girl Scouts will be showing off their cookie-selling skills by participating in booths (starting Jan 19), door-to-door sales, cookie drive-thrus and digital sales through March 4. Boxes of Girl Scout Cookies are $4, except the Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores varieties, which are $5.
