A traumatised dog up for adoption missed her previous family so much she chose to take matters into her own paws.
She was described as the flawless family pet - humble, kind, healthy, housebroken, loves children, plays well with other dogs and doesn't pull on a leash. Seminole Animal Shelter Treasurer Marta Mattingly said the organization had reached out to them and would post on Facebook if the family agreed.
"Her heart wants to be with them, but they can not keep her", the Seminole Humane Society/Seminole Animal Shelter wrote on its Facebook page on Monday.
"She's very sweet; very calm and docile", reserve animal control officer Lynzi Thompson told KOCO.

She was staying with a family friend in Prague, Oklahoma while a shelter tried to find her another home.
Her family loved her very much.
Now, the shelter is hoping to find someone to take her in. She's a love bug.
This dog knew where she belonged, and distance was not an obstacle. Her adoption fee is $25. "We are working hard on just the flawless, secure place!"
If not, the shelter says they already have several applications to adopt Cathleen.
Not once, but twice the determined pooch set off from the home in search of her previous owners 32 kilometres away.
