The San Antonio Spurs have split their last six games but they will be looking to build on Monday's 107-100 road win over the Kings.
LaVar had called out Walton during an interview with ESPN's Jeff Goodman, saying he's too young to coach and that his son Lonzo, as well as others, didn't want to play for him.

In a less-than-surprising moment pregame, Popovich became the latest National Basketball Association coach to respond to LaVar Ball's claims that Walton had lost the Lakers' locker room. Carlisle said such comments shouldn't be published if they have no merit or validity.

Grinding Out the W While Ingram provided the firepower, Ball organized the troops.
"We didn't play well for the majority of the game", the Spaniard said after the game. Brandon Ingram led the Lakers with 26 points, while Lamarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 20 points. He went as far as to say that the head coach could no longer control his players, and while the Lakers was a good team, Walton was "not connecting" with them anymore.
Los Angeles has a great opportunity to finish this homestand strongly by beating one of the best teams in the West, so look for that to happen with the team's rookies leading the way.
"He pretty much is the offense: We give him the ball and get out of the way", Lonzo Ball said.
