John Cena To Return As Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Host

John Cena gets a famously passionate mixed response from WWE fans every time he hits the stage, but he remains a huge draw for younger fans.

"I'm thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon on three big projects that run the range of what kids love: slime-filled live events, awesomely cool animation and competition shows where kids take their shot at being the best", John Cena said in a statement "It's an honor to come back a second time to host the biggest, slimiest party of the year, the Kids' Choice Awards". Character art for the series, including Cena's Baron Draxum, has yet to be released.

The network and kids adore Cena so much that they've hired him full-time as the host of a new competition series called Keep It Spotless.

As noted, WWE star John Cena teased a big announcement yesterday, and today Nickelodeon and Cena have revealed the big news, which is that Cena will be returning to host The Kids' Choice Awards.

The ceremony of the Kids' Choice Awards 2018 will be held on March 24 at The Forum, an enclosure located in the Californian city of Inglewood, United States.

In a recent interview, he told E News that they're amping up the wedding planning in the coming weeks.

Also in 2018, Nickelodeon's new toon series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will feature Cena as the voice of the villainous Baron Draxum.

We're probably most excited to hear Cena on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles, but then again, we're not the target audience for the other projects.

Draxum, a new character to the franchise, is described as "an alchemist warrior mutant who seeks to turn all of humanity into mutants". After each game, a 360-degree scanner will measure each teams' mess to determine just how clean they really are.

Keep It Spotless is produced by ITV Entertainment and Hard Nocks South Productions, and is based on a United Kingdom format from Possessed.
