Lava Red OnePlus 5T Coming To India Tomorrow, Teaser Claims

The One Plus 5T Sandstone White is already out of stock

OnePlus 5T 'Lava Red' colour option to launch in India on January 11

Now, the company is all set to introduce the Lava Red Limited Edition of OnePlus 5T in India. Looks like, the new variant will make its way to India on January 11, which is tomorrow. It seems like the device will arrive in an 8GB RAM variant only, though, as the Lava Red OnePlus 5T is kind of a special edition of the device. OnePlus added a new variant in the form of "Star Wars Limited Edition" model with the Star Wars movie theme and white back panel last month. As of now, there is no information on the pricing and availability.

More importantly, however, we also don't know if or when OnePlus plans to put more inventory of the white coloured OnePlus 5T on sale again. Given how popular the smartphone already is in the Indian market, this new color variant is expected to sell like hotcakes. It features 18:9-aspect ratio 6-inch full-HD Plus display with 1080×2160 resolution.

As for the processor, OnePlus 5T is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC as its predecessor. On the front is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.

Apart from the fresh (and quite nice) color and rear texture, the OnePlus 5T Sandstone White doesn't differ from the Midnight Black variant of the phone with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space - that's why it's priced at $549. While it still uses the 20MP and 16MP sensors, the secondary Telephoto lens has been switched with a normal lens with an aperture size of f/1.7. It runs on OxygenOS, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

OnePlus had introduced the Lava Red OnePlus 5T variant in China at the end of November, soon after the OnePlus 5's initial announcement, and the company has been teasing the arrival of that variant of the phone to India as well. Also, the OnePlus 5T features facial recognition, a feature the OnePlus 5 lacks.
