Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to embark on six-day India visit on Sunday

In the summer of 2015, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son partied with friends at a Tel Aviv strip club. A meeting of the core committee formed unanimously by Jamat-e-Islami Hind, All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen, All India Muslim Majlis Mushavirat, All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadeeth, All India Milli Council was held.

Netanyahu will be the first Israeli prime minister to visit India since the late Ariel Sharon traveled to the subcontinent in 2003.

Mr Netanyahu will be accompanied by a business delegation. Leaders hailed government of India's stand who voted in favour of Palestine in United Nations.

Netanyahu's trip "is the grand finale to the celebrations of 25 years of (the) growing partnership between India and Israel".

This was announced by the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi.

Channel 10 News recently reported that police have been investigating the suspicions of the fixing of bids in the Prime Minister's Office, including the suspected involvement of senior officials in the office.

Bala Bhaskar, the Joint Secretary WANA (West Africa and North Africa) division in India's foreign ministry, said "India and Israel's bilateral relationship has been expanding in the areas of agriculture, water, science and technology, innovation, start-up, space, education, culture, homeland security and defence", since the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Apart from Delhi, he will visit Ahmedabad and Mumbai, with Modi accompanying him to Gujarat.

In addition, the visiting PM will give an inaugural speech at the Raisina Dialogue and meet with the Indo-Israeli CEO forum in New Delhi. Like trademark PM events, there will be roadshow from airport to the Sabarmati Ashram.

In Gujarat, the two prime ministers will visit the Center of Excellence in Vadrad and inaugurate a Center of Excellence for date palms in Bhuj via video conference. "My dad made an awesome deal for your dad, bro, he fought, fought in the Knesset for this, bro", Yair Netanyahu said, referring to the Israeli parliament.

In Mumbai, Netanyahu will meet with Jewish community leaders and select members of the Indian business community. It was in Mumbai that Chabad house had come under attack during the terror attacks in 2008. This is also why I vehemently oppose the exclusion of women [from public affairs].
