ABC has just fulfilled the hopes of all die-hard Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder fans: a crossover is officially in the works. While we're excited about the Scandal - How to Get Away with Murder crossover idea, at the same time you have to wonder why and how it happens.
While we don't know when this crossover will air, ABC revealed that the episode was written by Morenike Balogun and Sarah L.Thompson and directed by Zetna Fuentes. Her two popular properties, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder, are set to cross over at some point this season.
New episodes for "Grey's Anatomy", "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder" will be released on January 18 from 8 p.m.to 10 p.m. This spot look familiar?! "Hey Ms @violadavis ❤️ check it out", wrote Washington in the caption of a photo posted to Instagram that showed her sitting on a bench in Keating's courthouse hallway.
Davis also posted a picture of herself inside the White House as seen in "Scandal". He did not think that Olivia and Annalise exist in the same universe particularly.
The news comes as Scandal is in the midst of its final season and ratings for Murder have tumbled. Additional details are to be announced at a later date including the exact airdate for the crossover event.
