Kia has released the first official renderings of the all-new 2019 Forte sedan ahead of the compact model's debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week. Indeed, judging from the images, the new Forte is yet another departure from the Kia you think you used to know. In fact, it will join an evolving lineup of cars increasingly gaining positive reviews for styling and performance.
The 2019 Kia Forte will be revealed in Detroit early next week.
The carmaker said in a statement, while only teasing a rendering of the vehicle, that the new K3 comes with a dynamic exterior design and useful features throughout the interior. But if you want something that drives like a auto that's not necessarily all that functional...go with style and zip. For now, there's much to like, including a redesigned version of the Kia "tiger-nose" grille.
The small sedan has been heavily restyled inside and out and the new sleeker-looking model will present a more refined and premium offering compared to the out-going second-generation. The horizontal dash design is similar to what we find in the Sportage and Stinger, but there's a new free-standing LCD touchscreen similar to Mazda interiors. K3 is the Korean domestic market name for our Cerato, so this is a preview of the upcoming next-generation Kia Cerato, also known as the Forte in some markets. Inside, the dashboard has been completely changed with the infotainment screen moved above the new horizontal vents, which are doubled by Stinger-inspired turbine style vents at the extremities.
