New Florida State coach Willie Taggart could be adding a "Prime Time" addition to his Seminoles coaching staff.
While Taggart will officially make everything his own following the Independence Bowl against Southern Miss, plenty of Florida State greats and those still around the program are happy with what they have seen so far.
"You never know", Sanders said.
Deion Sanders and FSU coach Willie Taggart are reportedly discussing a coaching role for "Prime Time", according to Noles247Sports.
Hiring Sanders would be a gamble for Taggart as he approaches his first season at Florida State. ESPN reported that Sanders was in "early discussions" about beomcing a coach at FSU.
Sanders can surely help Florida State's defensive backs hone their coverage technique. But he has coached at the high school level in Texas and has worked with some of the top recruits in the country at the Under Armor All-American Game. Aside from his brief tenure as the coach of a charter school he had founded some years back, Sanders has virtually no coaching experience at any level.
And for several days now, Sanders has been teasing FSU fans hoping for him to come back to Tallahassee.
According to 247Sports' composite rankings, former head coach Jimbo Fisher assembled the sixth-best recruiting class in 2017. Taggart was previously the head coach at Oregon.
