There will be a big change today with afternoon highs only in the low to mid 40s. Winds NW 5-10 miles per hour.
Overnight lows are going to drop down to freezing outside so be sure to bring the pets inside! You won't notice much from this front, as it will generally arrive cloud and rain free, but you'll notice temperatures only reaching the upper 50s to near 60 this afternoon, rather than pushing 70 like Monday. We then clear up and cool down Wednesday.
Thursday will be another warm day in the mid to upper 60s, before another cold front comes through overnight and keeps temperatures cool on Friday.
Wednesday we will see some of the coldest air of the season. Overall, a quiet week is in store, with a small roller coaster ride of temperatures. At this time, there is a slight chance of rain mainly in the Ozarks closer to I-44 Sunday but depends on the track of the southern storm. We will only reach a high of 38 with a 10% chance of rain. The winds will remain out of the south, bringing in extra moisture out of the Gulf. Highs on Monday will be in the mid 60s.
Friday highs rebound back in the upper 40s-low 50s with mid 50s-low 60s by Saturday before another cold front pushes through Sunday cooling highs back down in the upper 40s-low 50s.
