The release says investigators believe Eubank was killed earlier this year in a "domestic-related incident". Records don't show an attorney for her.
"I just found out my mom killed my dad and I found the pieces of his body in the house", the couple's son told police on December 9, WEWS reports. "Pretty gruesome", Summit County Sheriff Steve Barry told the station.
The couple's son, who had been living with them, alerted police to the scene after discovering the remains of his 54-year-old father.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, Eubank's son broke into his parents' home via a window after being locked out of the building. She's accused of killing her husband, Howard L. Eubank, after his remains were found Saturday.
He also says his mothers confesses to the crime in a text message she sent to him saying, "she killed him and his body is throughout the house".
Deputies responded to 3301 Linda Street and found what appeared to be deteriorated remains, unknown yet if they are human.
Cleveland.com reported that Marcia wasn't home when police arrived and was arrested a day later in a parking lot.
The medical examiner's office said it might be a while before the remains are positively identified because of the body's advanced state of decomposition.
She was then interviewed by sheriff's detectives and subsequently charged with one count of murder and booked into the Summit County Jail. The paper reports family and neighbors thought Howard Eubank, who drove a truck for a local pipe company and would sometimes be gone for long periods, was in Texas.
"She communicated back that you should call police", Barry said.
