The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's second expansion called The Champions' Ballad finally has a release date and it's sooner than you think.
This story DLC has remained a bit of a mystery. It was also revealed that after the various new activities that The Champions' Ballad offers have been completed, players will be able to unlock the Master Cycle Zero, a motorcycle that Link can ride on in the game's huge open world. It will feature a brand-new dungeon, gear, and an original story. The Champions' Ballad is only available through the game's expansion pass, which will set you back $20, but that also includes the first DLC pack, The Master Trials.
The news was shared at The Game Awards, where The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi took to the stage to thank everyone for their support. There were a few #NotMyZeldas being bandied about.
And just after we'd caught our breath from the instant release - there was Link riding a motorbike. Even the game's DLC has been shockingly good thus far.
Keep in mind that you can't buy The Champions' Ballad separately.
