Want more? Stay tuned for updates as we here at The Nerd Stash find out more from the game as time progresses. Witchfire, a first-person shooter that combines dark fantasy with a haunting landscape in such a way that'll fully immerse you into a world of monsters, revolvers, and zombie-skeletons. It appears that everything we were shown at the Game Awards was, in fact, all gameplay footage.

Polish developer The Astronauts made a surprising debut at The Game Awards 2017 with Witchfire, a dark fantasy shooter with gorgeous environments and a mishmash of exciting action elements.

As you can see in the teaser, Witchfire uses the photogrammetry tech we previously used in The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Witchfire, according to The Astronauts, is a game the team wants to make "unlike anything" they've done in the past in tone and in terms of mechanics.

Witchfire seems to be a mixture of both, and while the trailer doesn't reveal anything about release timing or targeted platforms, it's quite intense.

Witchfire now has no scheduled release date.
