2018 TVS Apache RR 310 launched at Rs 2.05 lakh

TVS Apache RR310 with top speed of 160 km/hr launched in India at Rs 2.05 lakh

TVS Apache RR 310 was first introduced to the Indian market during Auto Expo 2016 in the form of TVS Akula 310 Race concept bike. The TVS Motor Company enter into the super-premium segment with TVS Apache RR 310, in both domestic and global markets. With the Apache RR 310, TVS has made its debut in entry-level sports bike segment.

The fully faired Apache RR 310 will rival the likes of the KTM RC390 in India.

After a wait of nearly two years since the Akula concept was unveiled, TVS has finally launched the manufacturing version called the TVS RR 310 in India. TVS Apache RR 310 is another step in our effort to deliver beyond customers' expectations and offering them a chance to upgrade from premium to super-premium category.

Apache RR 310 is powered by a four-stroke, four-valve, single-cylinder, reverse-inclined 312 cc engine which makes 33.5 bhp at 9700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7700 rpm. Our endeavour is to fulfill the aspirations of discerning customers by offering high-quality, technologically-innovative products. "We are confident that customers will find it to be a ideal combination of racecraft technology and riding dynamics". As a result, the company claims to achieve the 0-60kmph stint in 2.93 seconds and a top speed of 160kmph @ 10,300rpm, which is 15kmph more than that of the G 310 R. This allows for enhanced stiffness in straights, and flex for dynamic cornering capability, which according to TVS leads to best-in-class riding dynamics.

In terms of the design of new TVS RR 310, the bi-LED projector headlight is integrated into the front fairing which gets a blacked-out beak.

Transmission is a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a Race Spec light-weight trellis frame chassis with Race Spec KYB tuned suspension with ABS and Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and will be available as standard on the RR 310.

The company has launched a wide range of activities, including racing championships, creating clubs and training riders, as part of its promotional activities for its Apache RR (Race Replica) model.
