N'Zonzi has flown to London this week, albeit to see his daughter who lives in England, but reports in Spain claim he will use the trip to iron out the finer details of a move to the Gunners ahead of a €40million January transfer.
Juventus made serious overtures to Sevilla last summer with the £25m-rated midfielder close to moving to Serie A. However, that interest persuaded the Andalus club to extend N'Zonzi's existing deal. His midfield companion Guido Pizarro was not much better, provoking N'Zonzi to question whether Berizzo favoured him because he is a fellow Argentine.
Eduardo Berizzo - who underwent a successful operation as part of his cancer treatment this week - opted to send N'Zonzi for an early bath after a disastrous performance in the first half.
Speaking to France Football, he said: "My future is clearly elsewhere than in Seville".
N'Zonzi has spoken to France Football (via AS) about his current problems at Sevilla.
"Whether in a 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or any other formation, a player must adapt to what his coach demands and I have always done it".
N'Zonzi then bemoans the departure of legendary sporting director Monchi: "I'm not here to decide whether I'm going or not, but to play. My case with the coach, with Monchi, would have been fixed in two days".
Sevilla have denied receiving any offers for midfielder Steven N'Zonzi amid reports linking him with a move to Arsenal. "But what bothers me is the way this is happening, I never had a problem like this with any coach".
