The 41-year-old, whose suicide came two weeks after his final live performance in Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena, was found dead at his £1.8million California mansion.

An autopsy revealed that Chester Bennington had alcohol in his system at the time of his death. Now, TMZ has revealed the details of the singer's autopsy report and, perhaps unsurprisingly, his body contained more than one substance at the time of his death.

The paperwork notes authorities had found a bottle of prescription sedative Zolpidem in his bedroom, along with an empty bottle of Stella Artois beer, and a pint glass which was less than half full of Corona. Police also found fingernail fragments underneath the Linkin Park frontman's iPhone and on a bedside table, which his widowed wife, Talinda Bennington, told officials was something he'd do when he was anxious. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Bennington's Dead by Sunrise band mate Ryan Shuck says that a month prior to his death, Chester had been sober for six months.

Bennington committed suicide by hanging in his home, just outside of Los Angeles. He was laid to rest at the end of July, surrounded by friends and family. "We don't know how much [he drank], but it doesn't take much when you're that advanced an alcoholic and an addict and you're battling to the extent he described to me", he said.
