It's an edgy look favoured by girl squad BFF Lorde.
Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (the same photogs who snapped her Reputation album cover), the shot sees Swift, 27, ditching the oversized sweater and shorts uniform she's been donning as of late in favor of a far more glammed-out look.
'That said, even superstars aren't immune to the power of a great dress, ' he added. Taylor Swift will be the second cover star since Enninful took over.
While this month's cover is undoubtedly fabulous, it's not the first time Swift has graced the style bible.
Five times on the cover of Vogue?
Taylor Swift's first magazine cover since the November release of her album Reputation has been revealed, and it's one for the books. "Taylor says she has never seen herself transformed like this before, and I was very touched to see how emotional she was at the end of our shoot day in London". Reputation has more than twice as many streams as the No.1 midweek album, U2's Songs Of Experience (Island) and Swift has four songs in the UK Combined Tracks Top 200.
In addition to a high fashion-and kinda emo-photo shoot, Swift has also written a poem for Vogue on the topic of "reinvention and moving on".
The rest of Taylor's back catalogue is available on streaming services too, but only since she returned it in June, having previously withdrawn it after voicing her opposition to advertisement based streaming.
It's all ideal timing with Swift announcing a world tour that takes in Australia with tickets going on sale December 15 for shows in Perth (October 19), Melbourne (October 26), Sydney (November 2) and Brisbane (November 6).
