Steph Curry leaves game against Pelicans with sprained right ankle; X-rays negative

Curry was escorted to the locker room in fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Pelicans after rolling his right ankle, Marc J. Spears of ESPN reports.

This is one of the nastier ankle rolls that you'll see, as his ankle snaps quickly as Curry obviously goes down in pain.

But he could be facing a lengthy absence after struggling to limp off the court with just under a minute remaining.

Moments earlier, Warriors star Kevin Durant had been ejected for the third time this season after clashing with DeMarcus Cousins. Curry was competing until the final buzzer, though, and it led to him suffering a bum wheel.

He stepped on the foot of E'Twaun Moore while going for a steal and it was ugly.

Golden State are now 2-0 when faced with a 20-point half-time deficit this season, when they had previously been 2-150.

With Curry adding 31, Klay Thompson was the next highest scorer with 22.
