In response to user query over the company's firmware roll-out programme for the device on Twitter, Juho Sarvikas, Chef Product Officer for HMD Global, revealed that Nokia 3 will straight jump to Android 8.0 Oreo. Like the Nokia 9, it will also ditch the 3.5mm audio jack.
This new leak indicates Nokia 9 will be another mid-range flagship and not premium flagship smartphone competing against the likes of Galaxy Note 8 and Apple iPhone X. But it won't be alone it seems, as there are also plans to launch a re-booted Nokia 8 alongside. The Nokia 9, much like several other flagship smartphones will come with an 18:9 display. The phone will be revealed at a press event in China.
Also, the report states that the devices will run a customized version of Android Oreo, which would be exclusive to the Chinese market.
We have seen enough of the phone's rumors and leaks in the past. As far as specifications are concerned, Nokia 3 comes with 5-inch HD 2.5 D curved displays with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Recently, few images of the Nokia 9 were posted online by a casemaker, suggesting the design of the smartphone. Apart from this, the phone will feature a dual cameras at the back panel so we could expect great performance from the Primary cameras of the phone. It will be an ideal phone to carry along anywhere with you as it has designed with durable materials. Reports also suggest, alongside the Nokia 9, HMD Global may also unveil another phone - which may the 2018 edition of the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 9 will come with a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which is rumoured to be priced at 3699 Yuan and a 128GB storage variant priced at 4199 Yuan. The list of specs or its pricing could be different and we will get to know about it after the official announcement of the phone. The Oreo update will first release for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphone and then it will be available on the Nokia 3 smartphone.
