Sears Holdings, which earlier this year warned there is "substantial doubt" it can remain in business, started its Black Friday sales at the beginning of November, putting virtually everything in both Sears and Kmart on sale.
For Black Friday 2017, however, Chipotle will be open. About 69 percent of Americans, or 164 million people, intend to shop at some point during the five-day period from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, according to a survey released by the National Retail Federation.
