And, just as expected, Steam's Black Friday sale has begun.
Steam's 2017 Autumn Sale is underway now through next Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Fortunately, Steam sales don't promote flash deals or limited time offers, so you will not have to worry about an offer ending too soon.
You can even get great deals on complete series. It also makes it easy to compare prices with the ongoing Origin, Ubisoft Store, GOG, and Humble Store Black Friday sales. This is just shy of four weeks after the game's launch, for what it's worth. Most notably, the promo (which runs until November 28th) cuts the price of the relatively fresh Middle-earth: Shadow of War by 40 percent to $36.
Having just had a sale four weeks ago another Steam sale seems unusual until you realise that tomorrow is Black Friday.
Coinciding with the Steam Autumn Sale, the nomination process for the annual Steam Awards has begun. If the GameStop link sells out, it's also available direct from Steam.
Also of note is the return of Steam Awards, with unusual categories like "no apologies" and "labor of love", not to mention "the world is grim enough". The previous news piece on HEXUS pointed out that VRMark is also on sale - at 75 per cent off for the duration.
