Tyrod Taylor to start against Chiefs

McDermott & Bills need to commit to playoffs or the process

Buffalo Bills: McDermott's gamble fails against Chargers – 5 Takeaways

Head Coach Sean McDermott of the Buffalo Bills is seen during the game against the Los Angeles Chargers at the StubHub Center on November 19, 2017 in Carson, California.

Taylor had started the first nine games, but a poor performance in a 47-10 Week 10 loss to the New Orleans Saints was enough for McDermott to make the switch to Peterman.

Bosa, the Chargers' first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, was mic'd up for the game, and he had an absolute blast tormenting Peterman and the Bills.

McDermott said Peterman took the decision like "a pro" and noted that it will remain important to continue to develop the rookie.

Peterman was mercifully pulled for Taylor, who was 15 for 25 for 158 yards with a late touchdown.

"I don't regret my decision".

The Chargers picked apart the Bills on offence and defence and beat Buffalo 54-24, handing them their worst loss of the season. He finished 6 of 14 for 66 yards and was replaced by Taylor to start the third quarter with Buffalo trailing 40-7.

On the other hand, Taylor has his flaws but has had a solid year with 11 touchdowns and just three interceptions for a 91.4 quarterback rating.
