The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is set to film in Shanghai in two weeks, but so far the drama behind the scenes is already making for an interesting spectacle. "Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!" the 22-year-old tweeted.
Gigi took to Twitter to share the news on Thursday Gigi came under fire in September after a video of her appearing to mock a Buddha surfaced online. "Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the lovely show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year!"
Arguably the biggest supermodel of the past year, Gigi Hadid has dropped out of the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
"Thank you my friends @ed_razek @10magazine @johndavidpfeiffer @monica.mitro for another unforgettable opportunity; every aspect makes me feel like a dreaming kid again". Gigi's sister Bella is still walking at this time.
However, it's been claimed that Gigi isn't the only model who has been forced to pull out of the show.
"'It hurts me to hurt anyone, and I want you all to know that it was never my intent to offend anyone through my actions and I sincerely apologise to those who were hurt or felt let down by me", she said in a statement. Fashionista wrote that Russian models Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva, and Irina Sharipova, as well as Ukranian model Dasha Khlystun will no longer be taking part in the show, according to Instagram fan accounts.
While he bestie Kendall Jenner will also be sitting this one out (due to a conflict of interest with her La Perla campaigns), sister Bella Hadid is already en route to the show and we can't wait to see her walk in her second Victoria's Secret Fashion Show of her career.
