Chelsea travel to West Brom tomorrow afternoon before heading to Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Manchester United have been linked with a shock move for unsettled Chelsea defender David Luiz in one of the most freaky transfer rumours to have surfaced so far this season.

Antonio Conte has confirmed that David Luiz is set to return to his squad for Chelsea's trip to West Brom on Saturday.

Manchester United are weighing up the possibility of launching a January bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to reports. "I don't like", Conte told his news conference on Friday. When it's a technical decision every player has to react well and accept my decision.

"I think I stay here to speak for the team before the West Brom game, not a single player". I don't like that.

"As a team, whatever happens, we stick together and do the best we can", said Moses. "This is the most important thing, not speaking about a single player".

Conte had a lot of praise for Christensen's form after the last match before the worldwide break, and he had more good things to say today: "It's positive".

Asked if his hirsute appearance was down to superstition, the former Italy boss at first denied that was the cause, but said he hoped to end the season with a mighty beard if he did opt to keep it for as long as Chelsea were winning.

Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses has insisted that the mood in the camp is still good despite the team coming in for criticism at times this season.

Luiz and Conte had a bust-up after the AS Roma defeat when temperamental Luiz questioned Conte's tactics. It seems like there is probably some tension there, but bringing it to light certainly doesn't help the situation, and would obviously be very detrimental to their Premier League title defense efforts.

Chelsea has never been shy about spending money and they need to make a few tweaks to their roster in the next transfer window, to possibly make a comeback in the title race before its too late.
