Overall, however, the Asia tour has looked like a missed opportunity for Trump to spell out more detailed and workable formulations of his security and economic policies.

And that really is a sign of respect - perhaps for me a little bit, but really for our country. He publicly advocated his "America first" policies, warning United States trading partners that he was ready to take more protectionist steps in a bid to help American businesses and workers. He has worked to build personal relationships with each leader, too.
