While Kimmel is used to having celebrities read the internet's harshest disses about themselves, this time stars, including Kim Kardashian West, Stephen Colbert and Jennifer Lawrence, repeated tweets about the birthday boy.
Jimmy Kimmel has truly outdone himself.
Jimmy Kimmel turned 50 on Monday, and to celebrate, the staff on his show pulled out all the stops, bringing together a group of celebrities to read mean tweets about Kimmel and looping in J.J. Abrams to create a surprise movie trailer for a comic book Kimmel drew as a kid. Affleck, while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote Justice League, surprised the host by bringing out Abrams. "Your eyes look like vaginas".
David Spade hilariously pointed out, "You got some haters", to Kimmel, of course pronouncing it "hay-tahs". West also called Kimmel "out of line" and said, "I like you, you know me, I went to your family's wedding".
In a reverse move, Kimmel's favorite stars read disgusting tweets about the late night host. Tracy Morgan referred to one Twitter user as a "crazy sick motherf--er" when they tweeted, "If you replaced Jimmy's nose with a d-k, you'd have a dead ringer for dumbo". "Oh no that means you would have gotten too much good p***y in your life", wrote West in all-caps. The Terrific Ten trailer premiered during Kimmel's birthday episode, featuring stars like Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, Zach Galifianakis, and more.
