Meet the newest host of the CBS daytime talk show!

The "Satisfaction" MC will join hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood, replacing comedian Aisha Tyler, who announced her departure in June and made her last appearance during the season seven finale this August.

Eve rose to fame in the late 90's in the world of hip-hop, peaking in 2001 with her Grammy-winning collaboration with Gwen Stefani for her biggest hit, "Let Me Blow Ya Mind".

After a brief guest-hosting stint in October, the daytime talk series has chose to make Grammy-winning artist Eve Jeffers Cooper, known to her fans simply as "Eve", the fifth co-host for Season 8. "I feel like the first day of school. My face hurts from smiling".

"You have the best work ethic of anyone I've worked with", Osbourne told Tyler. "Thank you so much for having me".

She has guest-starred on the talk show in recent weeks as well.

Do you think Eve is a ideal fit to host alongside Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood? Shel also brings a fresh perspective as a wife and stepmother to four children. "Casting a partner on-air, whether it's one of five, one of two, is a very hard thing because it's that thing we always talk about, chemistry", she added. However, in an effort to find a replacement for Tyler, the series saw stars like Shemar Moore, Chris O'Donnell, Eric Christian Olsen and Wilmer Valderrama fill in the host chair temporarily. "I knew that this could have been a home, but I never imagined in a million years that it would be this magical of a place". Eve was a standout and proved she was the right fit earlier this month when she co-hosted for a week, impressing viewers, the network, and the cast.
