Following in the footsteps of seminal female artists like Elisabeth Lebrun and Mary Cassatt, Britney Spears and her new turn as a painter is taking off. The clip raised some questions: Why flowers? Leach was both the auctioneer and winning bidder, as he seemingly couldn't resist owning a piece by Spears.

The benefit was held at The Venetian and reportedly featured performances from Jewel, the Blue Man Group, David Copperfield, and Penn and Teller, among others.

"I am proud to say, Vegas is my second home and I am happy to participate in the concert in Vegas Cares".

In the video, she was seen outside in a bra top, shorts, and sneakers, a button-down splattered with paint falling off her shoulders as she rested one knee on a bench while painting. Spears donated the work to the Vegas Cares benefit, where it was auctioned off to raise money for a memorial to the victims of the October shooting that left 58 dead and more than 500 injured. Though he named Celine Dion as his favorite Las Vegas performer in residence, Leach has much love for Spears, of whom he said, "If you'd asked me 40 years ago, when I wasn't so old and crotchety, I would've said Britney". Mozart's "Rondo Alla Turca" blares in the background. On Monday, the pop singer attended the grand opening of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation's Britney Spears Campus, a center Spears donated $1 million to help build.

"I'm just really excited to be standing here for our new NCCF campus", Britney told the crowd in a speech before the ceremonial ribbon cutting, according to People.
