Many fans anxious that the Jaguars would not be able to run the football due to Leonard Fournette's injury and ruled out of the game.

The bright pink cleats were decked out in Riley writing for pediatric cancer research and had "Thank You Indy" written in gold.

Indianapolis - which fell to 2-5 - hadn't been more than two games under.500 since the disastrous 2011 season. He was also part of Pat McAfee's "Fourth Down Army".

The Jaguars will be facing quarterback Jacoby Brissett for the second time this season. "I think when you do it again I think people look at it and they'll say, 'Well let's see if he can do it against us.' And then when you do it again then [other] people are going to say, 'Well, it's not going to be against us'".

Allen Hurns was his most popular receiver with five catches for 101 yards. Blake Bortles surgically shredded the Colts secondary.

If Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano wasn't on the hot seat before Sunday, consider the boilers to be cranked up. And it hadn't surrendered as many sacks in a single game for 37 years. He is a low-end franchise quarterback, but you just hate seeing him get rag dolled behind a house of horrors offensive line of Ryan Grigson's creation. Bortles hit Marcedes Lewis for a 24 yard pass.

Bortles completed 18 of 26 passes for 330 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

The Colts' best chance to score came in the third quarter with a drive that reached the Jaguars' 6-yard line.

Through three quarters, the Jaguars had 467 yards while Indianapolis had 147.

Those are the big-chunk plays that were missing in the passing game the first six weeks, plays the Jaguars needed to loosen up the defenses that have been zeroed in on stopping Fournette and the run game. The Jags lead the National Football League in sacks and takeaways, and also rank Top 5 in average passing yards allowed. T.J. Yeldon enjoyed a career game with 122 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown run.

More on this game as the week goes on, but a truly dominating performance from all three phases has the Jaguars feeling good at the bye week.

"There is a lot to fix, and this one clearly is on my shoulders".

"Jacksonville came out and played well, and after what happened today, it's our job to come back out and fix things", Brissett said. However, it wasn't just the defense that catapulted the Jaguars to an easy victory over the Colts. "We've just got to be able to bounce back, get better from this and move forward".
