HTC is hosting an event on 2nd of November in Taiwan and sent out invitations to local media which might hint towards what is possibly coming.
Recently, Google signed agreement with HTC for producing and manufacturing its new Pixel range smartphones.
In case you can't recall, we've heard rumors in the past that the Taiwanese company is working on the alleged HTC U11 Plus featuring a bezel-less 18:9 ratio display.
The flagship smartphone is expected to be called the U11 Plus and will be the bigger and better version of the HTC U11. If the rumors are anything to go by, this upcoming smartphone could be the U11 Plus.
The HTC U11 Plus is said to feature a bezel-less 6 inch Quad HD+ resolution display, that really might be the biggest difference between the U11 and U11 Plus.
On the camera front, one will get a 12-megapixel camera on the back panel and it will be the same sensor that was seen in the U11. The device is reported to boast an IP68 certification, which will make it water and dust resistance and it can be submerged up to 1.5 meters in water for 30 minutes.
It is not yet known if the phone will come pre-loaded with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
HTC is also expected to launch a few other smartphones by the end of this year, including Ocean Lite, Ocean Harmony, HTC U11 Life and its Android One device, which is expected to be the U11 Life.
The other variant of the HTC U11 would be HTC U11 Plus.
