After launch the Redmi Note 5A smartphone in China last month, Xiaomi seems to be preparing itself for the launch of the Redmi 5A.

Several key details of the entry-level Redmi 5A have ended up on the net because of a leaked promo poster.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A will feature a full metal body and an 8-day standby battery life. We can expect the Redmi 5A to feature a 3000mAh battery, as hinted by TENNA. The Redmi 5A does not have a 3GB RAM variant as in the case of the Redmi 4A.

Redmi 4 comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF.

According to a TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which is spotted with the model number MCE3B is rumoured to come with a 5-inch display, 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. It will come equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Besides the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a micro USB port. The global availability of the Redmi 5A is yet to be announced by the company. The post adds that the Xiaomi Redmi 5A will weigh 137 grams and will be running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. As India is one of the significant markets for Xiaomi, we can expect this smartphone to be launched in the country in the coming weeks. The Redmi 5A gets its strength from decent 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat operating system wrapped under MIUI 9. The smartphone will be priced competitively in the budget market segment and will definitely give a tough competition to the other devices in the market.
