Now she can add to tha with Ruin, a historical drama from director Justin Kurzel (Assassin's Creed, Macbeth).
One that should be of particular interest is the very now relevant Ruin, a Justin Kurzel-directed post-WW2-era movie in which a former Nazi captain seeks penance for his war crimes by hunting down his former team members.
Gadot first appeared as Wonder Woman in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
Gadot will next be seen as the Amazonian warrior in Justice League, which is slated to hit cinemas from 17 November (17).
The project is set up at Marc Butan's Mad River Pictures. Described as being somewhat in the vein of Inglorious Basterds, except presumably without the comedic edge, the film is about "a nameless ex-Nazi captain who navigates the ruins of post WWII Germany".
Kurzel is also said to be prepping a film about Australian outlaw Ned Kelly. Ruin sounds like it might be a ideal vehicle for Fassbender, but as yet there are no reports about the actor being attached to the film.
Gadot, who is repped by WME, is also attached to star opposite Bradley Cooper in MGM's supernatural thriller Deeper.
Coming off her turn as Diana/Wonder Woman in the standalone film and Justice League, Gadot may be seeking a role that takes her away from superhero fantasy and into a more gritty and realistic milieu.
