Nigerian singer Davido questioned by police after three deaths

Davido 'Re-Invited' By Police As Cause Of Tagbo's Death Revealed

After new autopsy discovery from police, Davido speaks on Tagbo's death

Davido, however, has repeatedly denied involvement in the unfortunate incident.

The report says Tagbo died as a result of suffocation and as a result Davido who had earlier visited the police has been re-invited back for further questioning. The police have good reason to believe that the singer's account is not the correct one.

Two other associates of the singer, DJ Olu, 25, and Chime Amaechi, were found lifeless in the former's BMW vehicle parked in the underground garage of Block B, Banana Island, Lagos on Saturday, three days after Tagbo's death.

In a video published on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Davido denounced "lies everywhere" after internet rumours about the deaths. Do not cut, copy or lift any content from this website without our consent.

"I called for a pre-investigation meeting". The CCTV footage also confirmed this. "In that same meeting, Davido confirmed that he left Shisha Bar without the deceased to a nightclub known as DNA in Victoria Island; he stated that he was only informed by some mutual friends of the victim's death at DNA club".

He said the men abandoned the deceased inside his ash Toyota Camry LSD378EL on the instruction of Davido.

"This completely debunks Davido's claim that he did not know how the deceased got to the General Hospital". The vehicle was subsequently recovered from Davido's residence at No. 7 Awosika Street, Lekki Phase 1.

The CP promised to update members of the public on subsequent findings of the police investigations into the matter.
