Manchester City have fuelled rumours that Sergio Aguero will return sooner rather than later, after they shared a video on Twitter showing the forward walking out to train.

The Argentina global was ruled out his country's must-win World Cup Qualifier against Ecuador after a taxi in which he was travelling in Amsterdam struck a pillar.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has claimed several times that Messi's renewal has already been actioned and just needs to be announced, but the clock keeps ticking and that confirmation is yet to be made.

Speaking to TyC Sports, Aguero said: "Let's be honest, money is not an issue here".

"But I think Messi, like [Cristiano] Ronaldo, are players who are symbols of their clubs and it's hard for them to leave".

"I would love to see Messi join - who wouldn't love to have Leo in his team?"

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero admits he is lucky to have escaped with only a broken rib from a recent auto crash in the Netherlands.

The 29-year-old traveled to the Netherlands on a day off but was involved in an accident as a passenger. I'm lucky to know Maluma's agent and he invited me to his concert, which I went to. I had nearly two days off and going to the airport was when I had that accident.

"Then one thinks, 'Why did he go there?'But it's hard to imagine that something could happen".
