You can try out the games for a few hours before you buy them.
More than half a year removed from Mass Effect: Andromeda's launch, BioWare's underwhelming RPG is set to make a reappearance during the holiday months.
Last of all, a Play First trial for The Sims 4 will be hitting EA Access for Xbox One subscribers, along with the addition of the grim survival horror game Dead Space 3 to the EA Access free game vault. Though it didn't exactly receive rave reviews, this will be a great way to experience the game without spending a lot of money because it does still offer a ton of content to play through. Of course, purchasing EA access will make your account eligible for Origin access on PC, and vice versa.
If you chose to skip out on Mass Effect: Andromeda after the mixed reviews, lack of single-player post-launch support, or face animation problems, you're in luck!
The game trials will allow you to play Mass Effect Andromeda as much as you want, where Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed: Payback will give you Play First Trials. It's also going to be a major player for EA's subscription service. You'll be able to do all of this - as well as play every other game now available to Access members - as long as you're spending the $5 a month. Membership comes in two varieties: $4.99 for one month and $29.99 for a full year.
