President Muhammadu Buhari will depart U.S. for London today, Thursday, where he would see his United Kingdom doctors.
President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday left NY for London having attended the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Secial Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said President Buhari's appearance in NY was "worth the while" and immensely beneficial to Nigeria particularly Jordan's donation of 200 armoured vehicles to Nigeria under generous terms.
However, it is believed that the President is visiting London for medical treatment.
A senior aide to the President had told Saharareporters he would undergo an extensive medical checkup.
During the first visit, Buhari spent almost 90 days out of the country while the last visit took off 105 days from his tenure.
The US president hosted selected African heads of state on Wednesday on the sideline of the United Nations General Assembly.
Adesina noted that President Buhari held bilateral discussions with the various leaders on different areas of cooperation.
