Neymar could finally make PSG debut on Sunday

PSG line up £80 million offer for Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez - Report

Arsenal to miss-out on prime-target, move to European giant imminent

With global transfer documents finally received by the French Football Federation from their Spanish counterparts, the world's most expensive footballer is primed for a first appearance with his new team.

Both the French Football Federation (FFF) and the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), which runs Ligue 1, confirmed the transfer was now complete.

It's been almost a week since Neymar landed in Paris, and the world's most expensive player still can't play for his new club in the French league.

Monaco face Dijon FCO on Sunday having started the defence of their Ligue 1 Conforama title with a 3-2 win at home to Toulouse FC last Friday.

Anything other than a spectacular debut showing from Neymar and the criticism will begin in earnest.

Spaniard Emery has no doubt that his new arrival will help the team achieve those lofty goals, whether he makes his debut on Sunday or the following week against Toulouse. I try to listen to all of them about their objectives and ambitions.

PSG wanted Neymar to start the season at the Parc des Princes last week against Amiens but his debut was delayed because his global transfer certificate (ITC) had not been received by the French league on time.

If PSG sign the French forward, they certainly have one of the biggest talents in world football on their hands.

"He is physically ready to play the entire match", said the Spaniard.

The young French striker Kilian Mbappe will soon become a player "PSG".

The 18-year-old striker's future has been a topic for discussion all summer as some of the top clubs in Europe have been interested in snaring him away from Monaco. "We want him in the squad, and in the starting XI".

He added, according to L'Equipe: "We like challenges".

"To beat, or even draw, against PSG you have to be on a really high level prior to matchday".
